If you're impatient, however, you could always look into the Tales of Adventure items in the Mog Station and skip straight to Stormblood. Simply follow them to their conclusion and you'll stumble into the new expansion eventually. If you're not caught up on the Main Scenario Quests, don't worry yourself. However, you must be level 60 with patch 3.5's last MSQ, the Far Edge of Fate, completed before you can pick it up. Well, that's because you must first unlock the maps during Stormblood's Main Scenario Quests (MSQ), which starts with " Beyond the Great Wall" from Alphinaud in the Rising Stones (X:6.0 Y:5.9) - the Scion's hideout in Mor Dhona. So you've redeemed and installed FFXIV's latest expansion, but the game doesn't tell you where to go to access the new maps. Whether you're looking to unlock Red Mage and Samurai or access the new Stormblood maps, you've landed in the right place. I won't waste your time with too much fluff, then.
